Why distance learning?
If you want to learn to write, distance learning is a very successful method of learning. LSJ courses are world-renowned for training by home-study, and cover creative writing and journalism in all its forms. Courses can be taken using normal post, or by email or online. London School of Journalism courses can teach you to make the most of your writing ability. We have trained students to be successful writers for over 85 years.
Our tutors are published, established writers, or well-qualified, active journalists, and will try to teach you to do what they do - write successfully and get work published. We cannot guarantee that you will be successful (to do so would be dishonest) but we can promise that you will be taught to write to the very best of your ability.
All our students are able to use the facilities of our student website which include online lectures and student bulletin boards.

In addition to our wide range of correspondence courses to help you further your career as a writer, we also provide 3, 6 & 9 month postgraduate Journalism diploma courses, held in London, evening classes in travel, freelance journalism and creative writing and a short 3 day introduction to journalism course.
